April 30th - Dino, Part 1

This is the first part of the dinosaur.  I need a great name for this particular species...maybe foldasaurus or origamus?  Check back tomorrow to see the completed animal and his official dino name!

April 29th - Rooftop

Personally, I think this looks more like a tent than a rooftop, but considering there is no flap to lift to get inside, then the rooftop does seem more fitting.  Although, a roof without a building of some sort does seem rather peculiar.  I think maybe this roof needs a building....thoughts?

April 28th - Bull Skull

Can't you just envision this fossil on the side of the road in New Mexico or somewhere like that?  No?  Well, try harder....I can!

April 26th - Woodpecker

I remember as a kid loving Woody Woodpecker (I can hear his little laugh now.) and he wasn't nearly as freaky looking as this bird.  This thing will scare the bejesus out of you!

April 23rd - 25th - Rose

This rose had a part one and a part two that took up a whole weekend!  AND I needed a toilet paper cardboard roll to make it work.  This one was a lot easier than the directions let on, but I don't really like it....maybe I can find another technique and post that one later...for the time being, this bud's for you!

Shirt & Tie Challenge

My friend Jada sent me a link to a great You-Tube video on how to fold this origami and I took it as a challenge.  I keep a few $2 bills on hand to fold money folds and I had 2 left.  Now I only have 1!  I love this little shirt and tie!  I think it is so much cooler than the shirt I did at Rum Runners without the tie.  Thanks for the challenge Jada!  This is really neat!

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday to Cameron!  I made my friend Cameron some origami flowers to celebrate her birthday today (even though it is tomorrow) and brought in cupcakes for us and some other friends to eat!  I just love how these flowers turned out.  They are small, made with 2" square paper.  I'm excited because I also get to celebrate my friend Jamie's birthday tomorrow!  Double-birthday Saturday!  Woo hoo!
