May 31st - Lily

My favorite flower.  I am waiting for mine to bloom in my yard.  They always do around this time of year.  I have only have 2 now, I usually have a lot more.  They are late bloomers this year.  I moved them to pots so they wouldn't take over my yard, so they aren't doing as well.  Check out the other lilies I have done.  They are all a little different.

May 27th - Rectangular Box

What am I going to put in all these boxes? 

May 28th-30th - Baby Elephant

This is a two-parter...LOVE this!  Okay, I lied, I wrote that before I actually made the elephant just as a placeholder so all my May posts would show up under the May heading....I think this turned out just okay.  What I really loved was the picture in the calendar of what this was supposed to turn out like.  Eh, my folding is not so great at one in the morning.

May 25th - Spiked Tray

This is kind of like the interesting box I did a while back.  I think I like that one better.  Uh, is there a peanut in the box?  I am looking at the picture and it totally looks like there is a peanut in the box!  I did not put a peanut in there...how weird!

May 26th - Parrot

Polly want a cracker? I feel a faint sense of deja vu when I look at this as it looks very similar to the toucan I did a while back. Although I was very thankful for that when it came time to make this because I remember there was one fold that had me stumped for a bit on the toucan, so it was a breeze here on the parrot.

May 24th - Gecko Head

Eh, kind of boring, but it was created by a 12-year-old and I couldn't create a design, so what can I say?

May 21st - Iris

This is a pretty flower, but kind of harsh looking in origami. Much prettier in real life. Not to mention that this is a terrible picture.  Oh well.
