April 14th - Bananas

Well, of course, where you have monkeys, you must have bananas.  At my house, these were called "nanas" for a long time.  This might not present a problem at your house, but my mom is my kids' Nana, so we were a little concerned that Charlotte would start to think that my mom was a giant yellow fruit that you eat.  Eventually she learned how to say it the right way.  Now we have the fruit and the grandparent and only one more kid to teach the difference when he starts talking!
